Our work : Tiny house

The tiny-house movement is an architectural and social movement that advocates for the downsizing and simplification of living spaces”a dwelling unit with a maximum of 37 m2 (400 sq ft) of floor area, excluding lofts.” The term tiny house is sometimes used interchangeably with micro-house.

Tiny houses in the UK are legal. Trailer based models like the ones we create are legally classified as caravans which makes finding somewhere to put them a lot easier. Depending on where you want to put your tiny eco home and what you want to use it for, you might need planning permission.

While tiny housing primarily represents cheap, simple living, the movement also advertises itself as a potential eco-friendly solution to the existing housing market crisis, as well as a transitional option for the currently homeless.
